Soweto Street Cookout takes place on the 27th of October at Mofolo Park, Soweto. The Soweto Street Cookout (SSC) is an instructive social affair of culinary show downs, where vendors grandstand diverse cooking styles. A haven for family time and mingling but also a perfect podium for business networking. This social event celebrates social cohesion through food, beverages and fashion. It is an occasion where everyone can come together to appreciate this uniquely outstanding concept inspired by Soweto, in the heart of Soweto! They have devoted Their lives to improving the lives of young people in local communities by developing their Arts, Culture and Heritage skills and abilities through educational programmes and projects that enhance the skills they need to improve their lives in the arts and craft.
Trompies
Trompies are a South African music group who specialise in a type of pop music known as kwaito. The members of the group grew up together in a Soweto township and agreed to form a band after they had all completed their music studies in college
DJ Kent
He is a multiple award winning DJ, Producer, Composer and song writer and now officially add Singer to the list of qualities Kent has to offer in the music space.
